Mariah, Age 15, Minnesota – Editor-in-Chief and Administrator

Bio: ‘Ello, world, my pseudonym is Mariah, Merriam is my God, Webster is my Jesus and the Random House is my place of worship. Britannica is my Heaven and Hell is for pinheads. I am a truly random and metaphoric person. I shun normalcy and everything associated with it. I’m angry that we “weird/unique/different/not normal” folks receive a bad rep for our decision not to conform. My musical taste is rather eclectic, yet I can’t stand contemporary country “music,” unless the likes of Johnny Cash and company are involved in the equation. I’m a big fan of the Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things, the Killers, Franz Ferdinand, U2, Led Zeppelin, the Cribs, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Coldplay, Bob Marley, Grateful Dead, Frank Sinatra, .etc – mainly classic, alternative and indie rock music (with the exception of Sinatra, of course).

I love to sing, play tennis, volleyball, basketball, and golf, and hang out with my friends. I LOVE to write poetry, songs, and short stories – I play the piano and the saxophone, too. I don’t like labels – it’s funny how so many people consider themselves to be individuals, yet worry about fitting in. (there is no such thing as individuality in America anymore.) I believe a clique is a group of people that feel that it’s important to imitate each other in order to stand out. I am an extrovert. I despise redundant schedules, I don’t like quiet places and I always have the urge to meet new people. xD I must end this Bio before it becomes a novel (which is very possible, considering I love to write). *Now shutting up…

I have created around fifteen websites altogether, but none of them compare to the likes of Velociteen because of all of the help and support from the staff, users and visitors. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who has helped keep Velociteen alive and kicking.

Hey guys, I’m Danielle. I became apart of Velociteen a few years ago when I met Mariah, the founder virtually on the Internet because she was a member of a site I was. We became friends and I started working with her. We have been buddies ever since.

I’m 15 yrs old and came into this world on the 29th of November. I live in Pennsylvania and I’m a freshmen, soon-to-be-sophomore at my local high school. I like to read, write and hang out with friends. I read a lot of stories like Twilight. I am currently working on two stories. One of my stories fills up three notebooks, and I have an idea for another story, but I’m not going to start writing it until I’m done writing my current story. I LOVE to hang out with my friends because they are as close to me as my family. I have one dog named Buddy. Buddy is a bichon frise; sort of like a poodle. I’m an odd child; I like different styles and music. I believe in odd things and love anyone who will listen to me talk. I don’t get a lot of chances to talk to people. LOL! Bio: Hello, my name is Tré, and I am not a heroin addict. I have two hands, a right and a left, attached to my right and left arms by my right and left wrists, respectively. Sometimes I like to drink soda. Sometimes I listen to music that makes people shout and jump and dance all crazy. Sometimes late at night I drive over the speed limit. I play the electric Ouija board. If I were ever to be stranded on a desert island, I would probably bring a dragon. I would tame the dragon and name him Q, and we would fly over the land protecting the underprivileged and downtrodden. I don’t like to shoot people. If hugs were chocolate, I would be the kind of person that gave chocolate to everyone who would take it. I can generally be found with a set of vandals, computer nerds, and thugs.

Bio: Bonjour! My name is Lori E. Mazzola! I am happily married, and the mother of two wonderful children. I am the Editor-in-Chief and Administrator of Country Kids Magazine and The Artist Tree. I have been published in four different anthologies, Twilight Musings, Songs of Honour, Collected Whispers, and The Best Poems & Poets of 2005. I have received the Editor’s Choice Award for my poetry.
